Sidexis 4 update brings all images together
-->
Imaging software is the backbone of a
functional workflow in the dental office. Dentsply Sirona’s updated Sidexis 4
platform reinvigorates the software space and launches an entirely new
experience for the dental practitioner.
York/Salzburg, February 23,
2017. After a successful launch of SIDEXIS 4 at the IDS 2015, Dentsply Sirona has
updated its standard-setting software, enhancing the already robust platform to
become a true all-inclusive imaging hub for every dental practice.
Seamless Workflow
As the central hub for integration and all diagnostic imaging data, SIDEXIS
4 allows for the compilation of data in a single software, enabling clinicians
to visually present patient information in one unified environment.
The SIDEXIS 4 “Lightbox” feature is a place to showcase digital images –
intraoral, panoramic and cephalometric X-rays, CBCT scans, FaceScan and
intraoral camera images on the same screen at the same time. The Lightbox
provides ideal conditions for all elements of digital imaging - from diagnosis
to patient consultation.
The “Timeline” feature presents an overview of a patient’s entire imaging history
and can be viewed at a glance, giving clinicians an intuitive time dimension to
their diagnostic options.
The “Compare” feature lets you display images, both 2D & 3D, side by
side for instant references to changes in dental anatomy – all without
switching from program to program or window to window. Putting all relevant
data into one screen helps support diagnosis and treatment progress.
Schick 33 Fully
Integrated
In the latest update, Sidexis 4 brings Dentsply Sirona’s industry-leading intraoral
sensor – Schick 33 – to the fore. Sidexis 4’s new intraoral integration
provides an intuitive image capture workflow built from 25 years intraoral
imaging experience with easy access to Schick 33’s dynamic enhancement tools
and exposure advisor feature. Now, clinicians can detect and diagnose
situations and discuss treatment plans with a patient based on images from
multiple sources all on one screen, in one software platform. There’s no more
switching between imaging programs.
Another benefit to using Schick within SIDEXIS 4 is the software’s
error-proof sensor placement positioning guide. An animated visual of anatomy
and placement shows staff the correct holder and where to place the sensor for
each image.
For the Office Today
and Tomorrow
SIDEXIS 4 offers revolutionary functionality, allowing clinicians the
ability impliment your clinical workflow with an easy to use intuitive
interface that prepares an office for the future. The SIDEXIS platform is
created for every office at every stage of office growth. For example, office
only utilizing Schick sensors can take advantage of the software’s benefits and
be well-prepared to accept 3D images from a specialist’s office if their
patients have to be referred out for scans. Even third party 3D images can
easily be imported and used seamlessly within the software through a quick and
simple import feature. When the time comes to add 3D, Galileos Implant add-on
for integrated implantology is also available. In short, an office will be
prepared for any situation that might arise in their digital imaging needs with
the SIDEXIS platform.
Planning with
Confidence
The ability to set up individually configured filters offers an improved
patient evaluation and communication process. Measurement and annotations tools
in the software aid clinicians in day to day workflow. Remote control of the
TENEO treatment center – including the automatic headrest setting and ApexLocator
– is available directly within the software.
Universal Compatibility
The SIDEXIS 4 software platform is open to all major image formats, readily
accepting files obtained by intraoral, panoramic and cephalometric X-rays, 2D
and 3D CBCT systems, intraoral cameras, FaceScanner and more.
