Dentistry’s Laser Meeting Returns Live to Dallas with New Formats ALD 2023: Lasers for Practice Success
Coral Springs, FL – November 2, 2022 – The Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), is hosting its first in-person annual conference and exhibition in over two years. ALD 2023 will take place April 21st-22nd at the Hilton Dallas/Plano/Granite Park.
According to ALD executive director, Gail Siminovsky, CAE, “The pent-up energy is fantastic! Speakers and industry partners are excited to return to our annual meeting and share how dentists and hygienists use lasers and adjunctive products for success in patient care and profitability!”
“Lasers make dentistry kinder and gentler,” adds Siminovsky. “At ALD, we’re changing dentistry as our attendees set themselves above the rest. Whether you’re a private practitioner or part of a DSO or group practice, you’ll benefit from the ALD’s 30th Anniversary Conference theme, “Lasers for Practice Success”.
ALD 2023 is two days, Friday, and Saturday, with a pre-conference certification program taking place on Thursday April 20th. On Friday and Saturday morning, the main stage presentations will be a mix of Ted Talk-style sessions and panel discussions. Afternoon workshops will provide a deeper exploration of the morning topics. Featured topics include:
• ALD Certification: Set yourself apart from your competition
• PBM Therapy – Pain relief and healing for your patients
• Laser Hygiene - Lighting the front line of oral care
• Sleep Medicine – Because many of your patients are tired of being tired
• Laser ROI – High time to boost your bottom line
• Soft Tissue Techniques – The bread and butter of your laser practice

ALD 2023’a new format addresses new travel decisions, and new ways dental professionals learn. “Our conference will welcome 300+ attendees from around the world, and we expect an exhibitor hall with 20 vendors,” says ALD conference chair Dr. James Carreiro.
The ALD 2023 exhibit hall will feature the latest product lines from leading laser manufactures as well as relevant peripheral products for every laser practice: including safety equipment, digital imaging products, diagnostic aids, oral therapeutics, oral sleep devices, and more.
“We’ll also continue the ALD annual conference tradition of offering many hands-on workshops for dentists and hygienists,” adds Carriero. “Workshops enable us to connect our industry partners with attendees in the most effective way. You can’t get this experience from a webinar!”
As in the past, ALD 2023 will welcome new friends and reunite colleagues, mentors, and mentees from around the world. “Our members share a passion and camaraderie across countries and cultures that is truly remarkable,” explains Siminovsky. “We’re excited to embrace our international laser community in Dallas in April.”
