ADA to award 2022 Humanitarian Award to Dr. Jeffrey B. Dalin

Jeffrey B. Dalin, D.D.S., of St. Louis will receive the ADA's 2022 Humanitarian Award for co-creating and guiding the Give Kids A Smile program since the ADA adopted the program 20 years ago, ADA News reported. "Creating beautiful smiles on my patients and creating beautiful smiles on Give Kids A Smile children are perfect ways to make me smile," Dr. Dalin said. The national program includes about 6,500 dentists and 30,000 dental team members across the US who volunteer for local Give Kids A Smile events, each year providing oral health care to some 300,000 children. "Giving back is a foundation of the dental profession," said ADA President Cesar R. Sabates, D.D.S. "Dr. Dalin has been the program's staunchest ambassador and is the perfect example of how a dentist's generosity and devotion can result in millions of healthy smiles." The award will be presented at SmileCon in Houston, Oct. 13 to 15, 2022, and includes a $10,000 donation to the recipient's choice of dental charity or project.
