VideaHealth Expands AI Across Emergency Dental Network
Organization-wide rollout supports high-volume emergency care environments by reducing documentation burden for providers.

VideaHealth, the leading dental AI platform, today announces that Emergency Dental of America has deployed Videa across its network of 22 practices following a successful pilot. The rollout brings ambient clinical documentation to one of dentistry’s most demanding care settings, where providers often have limited time between patients to complete notes.
Emergency Dental of America operates a high-volume, same-day care model that requires efficient clinical handoffs and consistent documentation. Videa Voice Notes, the first AI-powered ambient scribe created specifically for dentistry, captures chairside dialogue between doctor and patient and turns it into structured, chart-ready SOAP notes that clinicians can review and finalize, reducing the need for up to two hours of after-hours charting per day while maintaining quality patient care.
“Emergency Dental of America practices maintain a strong focus on delivering attentive, high-quality patient care while ensuring clinical documentation remains thorough and timely,” said Dr. Roberto Monteagudo, Co-Founder and Chief Dental Officer of Emergency Dental of America. “Voice Notes has streamlined this process, allowing our providers to stay fully engaged with patients while maintaining accurate records. We’ve incorporated it as a standard component of our workflow as we continue expanding across the nation.”
Following positive feedback from pilot locations, Emergency Dental of America moved forward with an organization-wide rollout and established Voice Notes as a standard part of its clinical workflow. Using the platform, Emergency Dental of America is saving approximately 10 hours of provider time per week.
“Emergency Dental of America has always delivered exceptional care, and we’re proud to partner with them,” said Florian Hillen, Founder and CEO of VideaHealth. “With Videa Voice Notes, their teams can elevate the patient experience even further—capturing precise, comprehensive documentation while keeping every interaction focused on the patient.”
Emergency Dental of America joins a growing group of dental organizations using Videa Voice Notes to enable efficient clinical documentation in high-volume care environments, helping practices improve clinical workflows and reduce administrative burden.
