Dentsply Sirona Donation Supports Oral Health Initiatives

Dentsply Sirona has long been committed to increasing access to oral healthcare. The company continues to partner with America’s ToothFairy to support their shared mission of providing oral health education for children, families, and underserved communities—both in the Charlotte area and across the United States.

Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest diversified manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, has again partnered with America’s ToothFairy to increase access to oral health education for families and children across the United States. In line with its sustainability strategy “BEYOND: Taking Action for a Brighter World,” Dentsply Sirona made a $5,000 donation to support this year’s My Smile Matters campaign, helping to make free educational resources available to schools, community programs, and dental professionals nationwide.

As a company deeply rooted in the Charlotte community, Dentsply Sirona is proud to contribute to this initiative, which had a strong local impact. Organizations such as InReach, the NC Department of Health and Human Services, and Currituck County Schools used the materials to educate families in Charlotte and across North Carolina.

Creating a Lasting Community Impact on Oral Health Education

The initiative, organized during National Dental Hygiene Month, reached more than 170,000 children and caregivers in 44 U.S. states, as well as families outside the U.S., including in Canada, Greece, Italy, and Peru. In total, 167 organizations downloaded and distributed educational materials, while 151 participants also accessed social media kits designed to help amplify the message online. The campaign’s materials were used by a wide range of partners, from schools and libraries to public health departments, community centers, and dental clinics, helping families learn about the importance of oral health and the connection between oral and overall health.

America’s ToothFairy is a resource provider that works to increase access to oral healthcare by supporting nonprofit clinics and community partners delivering education, prevention, and treatment services for underserved children. Since 2006, the organization has provided oral health resources to help more than 16 million children and caregivers protect their smiles from tooth decay.
