2nd person dies from TB linked with bone matrix lot

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that a second person has died as a result of tuberculosis associated with FiberCel Fiber Viable Bone Matrix manufactured by Aziyo Biologics. Thirty-six people had dental or medical procedures that used this product lot, and CDC and Food and Drug Administration officials are working with health agencies and affected medical facilities to help ensure patients are evaluated and treated.  Full Story: ADA News (8/25)
