MouthWatch Opens Nominations for the 4th Annual “Teledentistry Innovation Awards”

  

The 2022 “Tellie Awards” will Recognize the Latest Innovators and Pioneers of Connected and Collaborative Dental Care

 

Metuchen, NJ – August 15, 2022 – MouthWatch, LLC a leader in innovative teledentistry solutions and intraoral imaging devices, recently opened nominations for its 4th Annual Teledentistry Innovation Awards, affectionately known as “The Tellies”. As in previous years, the purpose of the Tellie Awards is two-fold:

 

1) To highlight the many innovative and effective ways that teledentistry is being implemented across a broad spectrum of dental care, including public health and private practice settings as well as integrated healthcare applications. 

 

2) To recognize the individual, forward-thinking dental providers who are using teledentistry to reshape the practice of dentistry to improve the state of oral health and ultimately, overall health.

 

According to MouthWatch CEO and Founder, Brant Herman, “We’re excited to recognize this year’s pioneers and innovators. Our goal is to shine a light on the many benefits of teledentistry, no matter which platform is used – the Tellies are open to all who are using telehealth technology in dental settings to enhance the standard of care, increase access to providers, and improve oral health for the untreated an underserved.” 

 

A Teledentistry Innovation Award will be presented to one winner in each of the following categories:

● Dentist: GPs or specialists using teledentistry at their practices that have improved patient journeys or clinical workflows.

● Hygienist: Hygienists driving the use and adoption of teledentistry in any setting, public or private.

 

● Oral Health Program: Non-profit organizations or private practices, including DSOs that have introduced teledentistry across multiple locations that impact access to care.

● Educational Institutions: Dental schools, universities and other education providers integrating teledentistry into their curriculum or services they provide.

Whenever relevant, a candidate can be nominated for multiple categories.

 

Nominations for the 2022 Tellie Awards are currently being accepted online at http://teledentistryinnovationawards.com/ and self-nominations are welcome. The deadline for entries is September 15th, 2022. Winners will be announced during the upcoming Greater New York Dental Meeting (Nov. 25th - Nov. 30th).
