We are pleased to announce that today, March 1, we officially spun-off from Zimmer Biomet to form ZimVie – now a public company traded on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol ZIMV. This is a great day for all of us at ZimVie and for you, our customer.
Even though we’re a new company, we’ve been doing this for nearly 100 years – innovating, investing, and working to deliver solutions and services that help restore daily life. As ZimVie, we have a renewed focus and increased agility to execute on opportunities to better meet the needs of you and your patients.

However, product packaging and other branding changes will be made progressively over time. We will communicate those changes relevant to you when the time comes.
- We do not anticipate any changes to local sales representation, product solutions, or service as a result of the spin or new branding.
- In the past several weeks, you (and any associated offices / facilities / practices) may have received additional communications from various functions within the company, including sales operations, finance, and legal, to address business transactions that are directly impacted by the formation of ZimVie, such as tax documents, contact numbers, and email addresses, or accounting processes. We will continue to work closely with you to address any changes you may encounter through the transition process.
