North American Dental Group Joins OSAP
The
Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP), the advocate
for The Safest Dental Visit™, has announced that the North American
Dental Group (NADG) has joined OSAP as a Professional Practice II
(Group) member. NADG is the first large group to join OSAP in that
capacity. The Professional Practice II member level allows large,
multiple-location group practices to give professional staff at all
their sites full access to OSAP’s resources a single rate.
NADG
decided to join OSAP after their compliance officer attended the 2016
OSAP Boot Camp in Atlanta. She was so impressed with the OSAP
organization and its educational programming that the company made the
decision to join as a Professional Practice II (Group) member so they
could provide all their member dental practices with full access to the
tremendous resources available through OSAP.
NADG
was included on the 2015 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private
companies in America. It was the third consecutive year that NADG
appeared on the prestigious list. “Our goal has always been to become
the best in class in our industry while delivering unsurpassed patient
care,” said Dr. Andrew Matta, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of
North American Dental Group.
“We’re
thrilled that NADG recognized the value OSAP provides and made this
decision to allow all its practices access to our many resources,” said
Therese Long, Executive Director of OSAP. “Company-wide access gives
their staff the benefit not only of in-depth science-based educational
programs and training tools, but also timely alerts and reliable
information and resources for dealing with fast-breaking issues such as
Zika Virus and other emerging disease threats.”
Celebrating
over 30 years of service to the worldwide dental community, OSAP is a
growing community of clinicians, educators, students, policy-makers, and
industry representatives who advocate for safe and infection-free
delivery of oral healthcare. OSAP focuses on strategies to improve
compliance with safe practices and on building a strong network of
recognized infection control experts. OSAP offers an extensive online
collection of resources, publications, FAQs, checklists and toolkits to
help dental professionals ensure that every visit is The Safest Dental
Visit™ for patients and the dental team. For more information, visit
