microSD Card: Smaller Devices Are On The Way!

First we had Compact Flash then Smart Media, Secure Media (SD), xD and now things get even smaller with micro SD. These units are about the size of a dime.

A 1GB microSD memory card is expected to sell for about $85, and a 2GB microSD card that can store some 500 songs.

These cards will provide greater memory capacity for cellular phones. Expect smaller music players, cameras etc. that will take advantage of theses smaller cards.
