 Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc., a global leader in dental material innovation, today launched KATANA Zirconia ONE For IMPLANT at Dentsply Sirona World (DS World). This pre-sintered zirconia block, developed specifically for CEREC systems, gives clinicians the freedom to create either hybrid abutment crowns or hybrid abutments from a single block—saving time, simplifying workflows, and delivering strong, natural-looking results.

KATANA Zirconia ONE For IMPLANT is built on Kuraray Noritake’s multi-layer technology: four layers of zirconia in carefully graduated shades that mimic the natural gradation of tooth structure. This product allows the chairside fabrication of natural-tooth-colored restorations—eliminating additional sintering time.

Because the zirconia powder is developed in-house, Kuraray Noritake controls every detail, from grain size to sintering temperature. This precision ensures consistent performance, case after case. With an impressive flexural strength of ~932 MPa, clinicians can rely on restorations that hold up to the demands of everyday function while maintaining esthetic appeal.

For more complex scenarios, such as non-parallel implant placement, clinicians can opt for a hybrid abutment with a separate crown for added flexibility.
