Dentsply Sirona Endodontics: for better, safer and faster treatments

The merger of the DENTSPLY and Sirona has created the most comprehensive range of dental technologies, consumables and solutions in the dental market. With the largest research and development platform in the industry, Dentsply Sirona is committed to its mission of empowering dental professionals. As a result, the two strongest Endodontic brands are coming together to join forces and offer best in class endodontic solutions: Endo-specialists DENTSPLY MAILLEFER and DENTSPLY TULSA DENTAL SPECIALTIES have been transferred into a joint business unit named Dentsply Sirona Endodontics.

Taken together, they symbolize a story stretching back over 100 years, which is now being taken to a new level: DENTSPLY MAILLEFER and TULSA DENTAL SPECIALTIES come together as Dentsply Sirona Endodontics in order to advance endodontic treatments further and ensure they can be prepared optimally, designed more efficiently and carried out more safely.
Dentsply Sirona Endodontics chiefly stands for treatment methods which focus on preserving teeth. "We want to support dentists in facilitating more comfortable classical root treatments by means of fewer treatment steps for the patient", says Dominique Legros, Group Vice President, Endodontics. "In addition dentists should be empowered to resolve even the most demanding endodontic cases with the best instruments and materials“
“Together we go even further” is the aspiration of the newly created business unit based in Ballaigues (Switzerland), Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA) and Johnson City (Tennessee, USA). Synergies from those entities will be channeled to foster the development of endodontic solutions. This also includes a uniform look involving the logo, design of packaging and joint appearances at trade shows. "Our customers will benefit from our combined forces as we continue to shape dentistry through innovative solutions and education programs in order develop endodontic treatments further", says Dominique Legros. “We design and manufacture our own, tailor-made production equipment that enables us to produce close to one million products a day at our production sites globally. Together we are best positioned to support dentists worldwide with state-of-the-art endodontic solutions that are advanced, specialized and trusted.”

At the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne, Germany, Dentsply Sirona Endodontics will be showcasing the entire product range on a joint booth in Hall 11.2. The close proximity to the imaging system and restorations areas facilitates rapid understanding of how individual treatment steps are intermeshing ever more strongly in endodontics and thus enable workflows to be harmonized: The whole endo-workflow can be covered with Dentsply Sirona components from imaging diagnostics through root canal treatment with tried and tested instruments to the restorative treatment of teeth.
